Walmart : on the race with other leading ecommerce platforms

We know Walmart as a retail store or a hypermarket where we buy goods, but just last year, they were on the leap and on par with other leading ecommerce stores. Walmart enters the online ecommerce platform by letting in retailers or online business owners to have passive income by just listing their products on their platform and doing the rest for them. Walmart helps every retailer to have a hassle-free online store management. You don’t need to do customer service or ship your products to your customer because they have it done for you which is included with your subscription to them. All of these may sound easy to do likewise to other ecommerce platforms but it is not. You’ll have to go through 4-weeks of onboarding before becoming their certified retailer.

Walmart onboarding is not the same as the other ecommerce platform where you can be a seller as long as you have paid the registration fee and you’ve got your products go live. In Walmart, you need to go through the process in becoming one of their retailers. After creating an account on their site, you’ll need an approval from Walmart to complete the registration process. You need to meet up their criterias for the credentials of every retailer which includes legitimacy, credit card score and your tax information. All of these credentials must be in good shape so Walmart will approve your registration. Once approved, they will set you up in an interview and get your items setup and go live. Although, it is a long process — will go four weeks long. It is a worthwhile experience because they will provide you with some seminars or training to understand how to succeed being a Walmart retailer online. And, you can earn with Walmart in two ways, selling your own products or doing Walmart automation.

Walmart automation, or called dropshipping is where you sell products online from other wholesale suppliers or do product research and when a customer comes in, you entertain them and let the supplier directly ship those products to your customers. You won’t need much work to do in your store management since you don’t have physical products with you, or do the shipping to the customer. All you need is to make the product go live in your online store, buy it to your suppliers, have a good credit score and do your tax. Many people have shifted to Walmart because it doesn’t have many restrictions. or policies and it is more affordable than any other ecommerce site. That is why Walmart is pacing up with the other leading ecommerce websites. The only downside of this, is the process of being a seller on their site but is giving you a privilege of having a passive income in the future without even spending too much time in front of your desktop or doing an 8-hour job.
